  1. This song has a blend of upbeat pop and dark lyrics, a juxtaposition that leaves you conflicted once it ends. You want to keep singing it, but the more you let the lyrics settle, the more meaning they acquire. This song is a reminder of unintended consequences and the ability to survive them. But perhaps the band says it better on their website: “it is about survival but that’s kind of an oversimplification, it’s also
    about building a vehicle from the defeated pieces of the thing you
    survived and piloting that vehicle through the cosmos.”
